Doctorate in Public Law at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2002), Associate Professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Girona (UdG), where since 2013-2014 academic year, he has been the coordinator of the degree in Political Science and Administration.
He is a guest lecturer in postgraduate programs in various public Universities, such as the University of Barcelona (Official Master’s Degree in Anthropology and Ethnography), the University of Coruña (Official Master’s Degree in International Migrations), University Mayor de San Andrés, Bolivia (Official Master’s Degree in Constitutional Law ), Carlos III University (Expert Course in Indigenous villages, Human Rights and International Cooperation), among others.
He is a member of the International UNESCO Chair for Sustainable Human Development at the UdG, and collaborates in various human rights defence organizations, such as the FIDH (International Federation of Human Rights) or S.O.S. Racism.
Among his main areas of research, stands out: Human rights, with special attention in collective rights and rights of indigenous villages; migrant’s rights; exigibility of social rights; Latin American constitutionalism; Constitutional analysis of the process of European supranational integration.
