It is the first activity organized by the centre for studies and research «women and rights».

The Dr. Encarna Bodelon (Director of the antigone group of the UAB) participated in the training plan permanent seminar of the CJJS 2017-2018 with the session entitled «law and gender-Gender System: feminist perspective» (05/10/2017).

From Antigona, we demand that the Prosecutor’s Office proceed on the possible cases of sexual assault and abuse committed during the 1-O in the city of Barcelona, as established by the Law on Criminal Procedure for semi-public crimes, Article 27 on denunciation of the Convention of Council of Europe on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence (Istanbul, 2011), and the commitments of the State Pact against Gender Violence. We consider the threat of a complaint against the mayor of Barcelona to meet her obligations to denounce sexual violence and sexist violence very misleading.
