Lawyer and graduate in Women’s Human Rights from the University of Chile. Doctor of Public Law at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
In her doctoral research, published in Buenos Aires (2014), she dedicated her research in the tipification processes of feminicide / feminicidal in Latin America, a topic on which she has given lectures in various countries, both in Latin America and in Europe.
She has been a consultant for the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights in Mexico and Moldova, and for the United Nations Committee on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW), regarding feminicide issues, sexual violence and violence against women, in general.
She is an associate professor at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and at the University Pompeu Fabra.
