Jeanne Mammen

Mammen paints a portrait of cosmopolitan, lesbian life in Berlin before the Nazi era. At one point Berlin had over 90 lesbian bars before the Nazi Party came into power; Berlin was the center of lesbian life in Europe.

To celebrate LGTB Pride day we are proud to introduce you Jaeanne Mammen (1890-1976), an interesting german artist.
