The EPOGENDER project was launched at the kick-off meeting that took place on March 11th and 12th, at the Rovira i Virgili University (Tarragona, Spain). The meeting brought together all the scientific staff members with the goal of starting work on achieving the objectives of the project and defining the tasks. All the partners presented documentation on the protection order in their countries (Spain, Bulgaria and Poland) and after two intense working days the consortium was ready to move on to the next phase of the project. The meeting had a great repercussion in the local media after the press conference offered by the Project Manager, Laura Román (URV), and the Scientific Director, Teresa Freixes (UAB).
